Happy New Year! Another year has passed and what a fantastic year it has been for Zulu & Levante Fishing Charters.

Zulu has completed its first year at sea clocking up a whopping 1200 hours on the engines. Many fish have been caught, many anglers have been satisfied and our crew are ready to tackle the huge additions coming to us in 2016. Zulu and Levante will soon have new ‘family’ with the arrival of Beluga in late January. Beluga is a 114ft luxurious super yacht which has spent the last 12 months cruising the world’s oceans, including the Maldives, the Red Sea and Monaco to name a few. We are welcoming Beluga to our expanding fleet, along with their 5 star crew into Port Douglas this month. Beluga will be available as a mother ship to our game boats as well as offering luxurious live-aboard trips for whatever the heart desires – Diving, exploration trips, snorkelling, cruising, and fishing. Stay tuned for more info!

We also welcome the addition of our 40ft Assegai Express in late 2016. This vessel is yet to be named and is currently in construction at Assegai Marine in the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia. The Express will travel primarily with Beluga as a fishing, diving and recreational addition to the fleet and will have the ability to transfer guests quickly and efficiently between vessels. For more information on mother shipping options for the 2016 Black Marlin season, please contact us here.

In fishing news, we spent Christmas on the Gold Coast and managed to get out of the water for a day 0n Carbon Trading. ‘Carbon Trading’, our 56″ Riviera is currently for sale and located at Sanctuary Cove, Gold Coast. We went 2 from 5 juvenile Black Marlin, which is great considering we had no fishing marks on the boat’s navigational systems, having not fished that vessel out of there previously. It was just a fun trip with a few first time anglers on board. For more info on the sale of Carbon Trading – see here.

We are now back in Port Douglas with both Zulu and Levante ready once again for action. Casey (skipper) and Michael (crew) are headed over to Bali this week to board Beluga and assist it’s crew in bringing her over to Australia, where’s she’ll arrive into Cairns to go through customs.

We have a huge and exciting year ahead with many additions and new opportunities. I will update on Beluga’s arrival as it progresses.

Tight Lines!
